It’s almost time to rejoice with the Torah!  Please join us Thursday night 9/30 at 7pm and Friday morning at 10pm as we end the year’s reading from the Torah scroll and begin again with the story of creation.  Much dancing and singing as well!

Notes for Kol Nidre

Yom Kippur begins Friday evening and we’ll have a Kol Nidre service at 7:15 SHARP.  Not 7:20.  Not even 7:16.  7:15.  Please be prompt.

As on Rosh Hashanah, parking on both driveways is reserved for the disabled and those unable to walk a block.  There is additional parking at the office park across the street and on Dominion Cove just a block away (toward Jollyville).

Saturday morning we will begin at 9 AM with the Torah service at approximately 10:30.  At about 11 AM, we will have two children’s services: one geared toward pre-school and kindergarten ages and the other more appropriate for elementary-school children. Both groups will hear the story of Jonah.

Mincha will be at 5:45 Saturday, with Neila at approximately 7pm.  All are invited to stay for a congregational break-the-fast.

The full Beth El congregational calendar is here.
